Hey! We’re happy and proud to be able to introduce you to the Boxzilla Plugin, formerly known as Scroll Triggered Boxes.
Nearly 2 years after its initial release, 125.000 downloads and over 15.000 active installations later we are rebranding the plugin to Boxzilla.
As you may or may not know, Scroll Triggered Boxes allows you to create content boxes which pop-up or slide-in at certain trigger points.
The main reason for the new name is that the plugin evolved far beyond just a scroll trigger. You can now choose between exit intent, time on site, time on the page itself, manual triggers and there’s loads more to come.
New pricing
With a new name comes new pricing.
Since a few months back, we offer several Premium add-on plugins which can be bought for a yearly recurring price.
With the new pricing, there’s now a monthly payment option. Paying yearly gives you two free months a year though, so choose whichever payment plan you prefer.
We introduced several new add-ons as well, with both pricing options giving access to all of these add-ons at once. The core plugin itself is still, and always will be, 100% free.
Updating from Scroll Triggered Boxes
We opted for a new home for Boxzilla on the WordPress.org repository.
This means that we’ll have to start over in terms of downloads & reviews but no doubt that will all catch up very soon. We’re just getting started, after all.
The single biggest benefit of this is that you can update at your own pace. Whenever you’re ready to make the switch, the upgrade guide will guide you through the most important changes.
