Box animations

Boxzilla can show your boxes with a subtle animation, so your message appears without feeling abrupt. This page demonstrates the animation options included with the plugin.
Choose a sliding animation when you want the box to feel like it belongs to the edge of the screen. Choose a fading animation when you want the box to appear more quietly in the center of the page.

Try the animations

Slide animation

The slide animation moves the box into view from its selected position. It works well for corner boxes, bottom bars, newsletter prompts, and other messages that should stay visible without taking over the full page.

Use this animation when you want the box to catch attention while still feeling connected to the page layout.

Fade animation

The fade animation gradually brings the box into view. It is a good fit for centered pop-ups, welcome messages, content upgrades, and other calls to action where a softer entrance feels better.

Use this animation when you want the visitor to notice the box, but you do not want the movement itself to be the main focus.

Animation and position work together

The animation is only one part of how a box feels. Its position, size, trigger, and content all affect how visitors experience it.

For example, a small box that slides up from the bottom right corner feels lightweight and easy to ignore. A centered box that fades in feels more focused and is better suited for important messages.

If you are not sure which option to use, start with a slide animation for corner boxes and a fade animation for centered boxes.

Configure animations in Boxzilla

You can choose the animation while editing a box in WordPress. Boxzilla lets you combine the animation with display rules, triggers, custom styling, and different box positions.
